Let's Do Some Lines: Week 2

Here's a look at the ACC lines for Week 2 with my picks in bold. All lines are from Bodog, the official illegal online gambling site of furrer4heisman:

Georgia Tech +7 at Boston College
- If BC can keep from turning the ball over, they should cruise.
Ole Miss +8 at Wake Forest
- Should be the best ACC game this week.
Northwestern -7 at Duke
- The line has slowly been creeping up. I'll take the Dukies after they won in Evanston last year.
Maryland at Middle Tennessee State (No line yet)
Miami +21.5 at Florida
- Miami's not very good on the road. Florida's really good at home.

Other team's I like this week:

Temple +7 vs. UConn
- The Owls get points at home against a team with a banged up running back that isn't very good against the spread on the road.
Notre Dame -21.5 vs. San Diego State
- The Aztecs might be the worst team in college football.
Nevada +10.5 vs. Texas Tech
- Nevada's a double-digit underdog at home that can run the ball and put up just as many points as Texas Tech.
Air Force +3 at Wyoming
- The Joe Glenn farewell tour continues
Arizona State -14 vs. Stanford
- Forget the comeback win. Did you see how many yards Stanford gave up to Oregon State?

How I did last week against the spread:

ACC: 4-2
Correct: South Carolina, USC, Boston College, Alabama
Wrong: Virginia Tech, Baylor
Nation: 5-0
Correct: Utah, Missouri, Cal, Colorado, UCLA
Wrong: None

Year to date:

ACC: 4-2
Nation: 5-0
Total: 9-2
