To be fair, we've been doing the smoke and fireworks since the Mike O'Cain era. Not sure when Miami started theirs, but we've been at it for a while.
I think a lot of State fans are excited about carrying the flags out onto the field. O'Brien, being a former UVa assistant under Welsh, perhaps mooched the idea after seeing it in action against you guys over the years. But don't worry...I don't ever forsee us cranking Enter Sandman anytime soon. :)
