Hokie Cornhole
These things took two weeks to build and paint, but I got them done the night before the ECU game.
Thanks to the following for making these cornhole boards possible:
- Mr. Home Depot Man
- Glidden Team Colors Paint
- Cornhole.com for the bags
- My dad for owning a belt sander
- Blue painters tape

Hey man love the cornhole set. Making some myself and was wondering what you did for the VT. Did you buy a decal or did you trace something and paint it yourself. Already got the team colors and the boards built, but that would really help me out
I printed off two VT logos on 11x17 sheets of card stock. the first one i cut out the outer VT, on the second i cut out the inner. I traced them onto the board and then used A LOT of blue painters tape and paper to cover the area around the traced logo. then i just went over it with a paint roller, let it dry, removed the paper and tape and did it all again for the inner orange part of the logo.
How did the Glidden Team Colors work out? The guy at Home Depot said the Maroon did not match.
I think it works. You have to remember our maroon isn't a true maroon. It's Chicago Maroon, which has a lot more in common with purple than dark maroon. I think it matches perfect.
I absolutely love the game of corn hole! I play almost ever single day and commonly compete in tournaments. I love the write up! BTW, if you like corn hole, check out my blog at http://www.cornholeplayer.net Thanks!
Love the boards!
