After the Week 1 debacle in the ACC, here's this week's power poll.
Week 1
1. Wake Forest
2. Miami
3. Florida State
4. Boston College
5. Georgia Tech
6. Clemson
7. Virginia Tech
8. North Carolina
9. Duke
10. Virginia
11. Maryland
12. NC State
Notes
- Yeah, Duke's No. 9. I said it.
- Virginia, Maryland and NC State are in a photo finish for last after the first week.
- We'll find out a lot about both Georgia Tech and Boston College this weekend. I'm looking forward to watching that game.
- Florida State is lucky it didn't play Week 1. The Seminoles look good in comparison by taking the bye week. We won't learn much about them the next two weeks either, so they won't go any higher than No. 3.
- Miami probably won't last long at No. 2.
- Before the season, I said the Atlantic is Wake's to lose. I was wrong. The ACC is Wake's to lose.
- The biggest power poll shakeup will always be after Week 1.

Yes, Wake Forest is one team that I am very glad we don't play this year.
With Tyrod coming back I think we are once again part of the ACC picture. Miami looked pretty good against West St Helen's Catholic Intramural, but North Carolina look very very shaky.
We always play Wake really tough and we absolutely beat them up when they won the conference in 2006. They don't scare me.
